Beef tallow is a rendered form of beef fat, typically made from the suet (fat surrounding the kidneys) of cattle. When slowly cooked, suet melts down into a liquid fat that, once cooled, solidifies into a creamy, shelf-stable substance known as tallow.

Historically, beef tallow was used for cooking, candle-making and skin care. However, tallow has recently been making a comeback, and for good reason! Here are some of its benefits:

·        Nutrient-Rich: It contains fat-soluble vitamins like A, D, E, and K, which support immune function, bone health, and skin vitality.

·        Skin Care: Since tallow closely resembles the natural oils in human skin, it can be used as a moisturizer and is gentle on sensitive skin.

·        Sustainable & Traditional: It’s a natural byproduct of beef processing.
